Meet the Team.
"The key to the perfect space is balance. If you can balance the material and metaphysical aspects in a beautified manner, you most definitely have got yourself something special".
Our aspiration is to succeed in creating new ways to build affordable, sustainable and economic housing and public/private non-residential spaces to fill the void of the deep connection between people in our communities.

ADNAN KHAN
DIRECTOR + FOUNDER
Adnan grew up in South London where he spent most of his time drawing and sketching whatever caught his eye from his mini-adventures, walking across the city or from his many travels across the globe.
He studied Architecture at the University of Westminster - where he worked on several research projects exploring themes such as sustainable urban planning and sci-architecture and authored a dissertation on the Japanese tradition of the 'Doma'. After graduating he worked in the construction industry as a site manager for London House Renovations dealing with high-end private residential developments and worked for a small practice, Burgess Mean Architects, specialising in Grade Listed residential properties prior to establishing Atelier Khan.
His current thoughts are on investigating the design philosophy of the boundary line at which the inside-outside duality complex no longer becomes identifiable and is considered as 'something else'.

DANIAL KHAN
DIRECTOR + CO-FOUNDER
Danial has a strong will that enables him to spearhead and envision new forms of design thoughts and ideals by fusing traditional mythologies with modern-day philosophies. With a background in contact sports, he naturally brought the elements of motion, movement, space and time into his work whilst studying interior Architecture at the University of Westminster.
He loves to make and experiment with different tools and materials, bending, cutting, reshaping and forging new thoughts and design ideas. This practice as well as his exposure to the construction industry during his time working on several private projects has developed his hands-on experience. Prior to setting up Atelier Khan, he worked on many freelance projects as well as working on a new contemporary award-winning residential private house.
