Our client approached us to unlock the potential of an existing commercial office building by converting it into three spacious two-bedroom apartments. The brief was to create bright, contemporary homes that reflected the expectations of the Kensington market whilst maximising the value of the existing building.

02 / THE CHALLENGE

  • We developed a comprehensive technical design package that carefully balanced architectural quality with buildability. Working alongside structural engineers, fire consultants and Building Control, we coordinated every aspect of the conversion—from apartment layouts and structural alterations through to fire strategy, acoustic separation and construction detailing.

  • The design introduced generous open-plan living spaces, large glazed openings and a contemporary material palette, creating three elegant apartments suited to modern city living while ensuring full compliance with current Building Regulations.
